The Carrier Trap
Permitted and licensed waste receivers must record loads digitally from October 2026. Carriers, brokers and dealers aren't statutorily required until October 2027 — but in practice that doesn't help you. A site that can't record digitally can't accept an un-ready carrier's load at the weighbridge. If you carry, broker or deal in waste, your real deadline is October 2026, not 2027.
